To qualify for the special award, the candidate must:

a) Have played a volunteer role for broomball for at least ten (10) years, not
necessarily consecutive, in their province or territory.

b) Have contributed to the development of the sport and left a legacy to it.

c) Having served a minimum of two terms in an administrative role or official in
their province or territory.

Have shown great respect for the sport, recognized by athletes, coaches, officials and colleagues in administration and have demonstrated exceptional capabilities in terms of developing programs or policies
