Canada Women's1) Article 49 b) - Overtime Period
Change to read: “In overtime, the teams shall play three against three, plus goaltenders. Goaltenders must remain in their defensive zone at all times. Exception: Coaches may pull their goaltender if they choose and replace them with an additional player.
2) Article 49 d) – Overtime Period
Change to read: “During Round Robin games, the duration of the overtime period shall be five (5) minutes (stop time). The game shall end as soon as a goal is scored. If the game is tied at the end of five (5) minutes, the game shall end in a tie.
In Playoff games, the duration of each overtime period shall be eighteen (18) minutes (stop time). The game shall end as soon as a goal is scored.
3) Article 51 – Result of the Official Game
a) The team scoring the greater number of goals during the game shall be declared the winner, and shall be awarded two points in the standings.

Procedure 1
The team that has the most points based on two points for a win, one point for a tie, and one point for an overtime loss considering all games played, shall receive the higher standing.
Procedure 2
The team that has the most points based on two points for a win, one point for a tie, and one point for an overtime loss (where applicable) considering games between the teams implicated in the tie, shall receive the higher standing. See APPENDIX E, EXAMPLE #1.
