1964 Started playing broomball in the Grand Falls’ Men’s Broomball League consisting of 17 teams
1966 Entered own team GEO G.R. Parsons Ltd.- played and coached
1968 Changed name of team to Dart Construction - played and coached
1971 Changed name of team to Eastern Motors - played and coached
** NOTE: We won three league titles. We also had one complete line consisting of the Grimes’ Brothers, one of whom is the Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador (Roger Grimes)
1971-1975 Served as Treasurer of Grand Falls Men’s Broomball
1971-1975 Served as Public Relations Officer - Broomball NL
1975-1979 Served as President of Grand Falls Men’s Broomball
1975-1980 Served as Treasurer of Broomball ML
1979-1982 Served as President of Bishop’s Falls Men’s Broomball

1981 As President of Broomball NL, led a successful bidding team from Corner Brook to Val D’Or, QC for the 1983 National Broomball Championships
1983 Newfoundland hosted National Championships in Corner Brook - first time in NL
1984 Co-chair for Bishop’s Falls Men’s Broomball hosting 1st Men’s & Women’s Atlantic Broomball Championships ever held in Newfoundland/Labrador
1985-1987 Served as Past President of Broomball NL
1987 Awarded lifetime Membership with Broomball NL
