Broomball Canada High Performance Coordinator

Reporting to the Executive Director and the Vice President Technical, the High Performance Coordinator is responsible for the organization and administration of the National Team High Performance Program.  

Responsibilities include:

– Coordination of all aspects of team selections, high performance testing, monitoring yearly and monthly training plans and National team events

– Liaise with Sport Canada, the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) and Sport for Life Committees and Provincial/Territorial representatives to ensure necessary distribution of information pertaining to the High-Performance Programs

– Prepare and manage the annual High-Performance budget as approved by the Board and Members

Qualifications:

– Post Secondary degree in Kinesiology or equivalent

– Experience with High Performance Sports and Physical testing

– Knowledge of the sport of Broomball

– Bilingual (English/French)

– Experience working with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point

– Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills

– Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, work with deadlines and under pressure

– Attendance at the Annual Meetings, Senior Nationals and other relevant meetings during the year is required.

Term:

This is a part time position with an anticipated start date of early January, 2022

Salary:

Dependent on experience and qualifications
