Senior and Juvenile Nationals on line training required

As part of our Contribution Agreement with Sport Canada, Broomball Canada must ensure that all individuals affiliated with Broomball Canada complete appropriate mandatory training on preventing and addressing harassment and abuse.  This includes Athletes, Coaches, Officials, Athlete Support Personnel, Employees, Contractual Workers, Administrators or volunteers acting on behalf of Broomball Canada in any capacity (including Host Committee Members).

All individuals affiliated with the 2022 Senior and Juvenile Broomball Nationals will be required to complete the following Safe Sport Training and submit confirmation of training to the CBF office prior to the start of the event.  The training is free through the Coaching Association of Canada website and if you don’t already have an NCCP#, you can follow the link to have one set up.  If you have taken a Coaching Workshop in any sport, you will already have an NCCP number on file.  The course should take ~45 minutes and should provide PD points for coaches.

Please note, all bench staff at the Juvenile Nationals are also required to provide an updated Vulnerable Sector Check and must be presented at Registration prior to the event.
