New 2010 Senior National Broomball Championships
Happy Valley, Goose Bay, NLLR

Up Date

Since taking on the Charter project, there have been numerous changes and the most significant one is the aircraft and schedule. To begin, the two aircraft originally scheduled are no longer going to be used due to the amount of people now requiring transportation to the north. Consequently, I have acquired a larger aircraft to take everyone in one trip saving a huge amount of money and also not requiring additional funds. The “AIR BROOMBALL” will now be using a 757-200 series for the estimated 200 passengers.

Further to the above, we have successfully negotiated for those teams located near the Pearson Airport to board in Toronto at a terminal location to be announced shortly. The exact area will be circulated within the next two weeks. The additional leg does come with a price; however, we took into consideration the additional cost and feel the $75.00 return is affordable compared to driving to Ottawa to board the aircraft.

Message from CBF

2009 was an extremely successful year for the Sport of Broomball in Canada.  The success was mainly due to the diligent and hard work by all volunteers across Canada working to make our sport better and safer and increase popularity with the youth in Canada. We cannot thank our precious volunteers enough for what they have done for the sport across Canada.  Every Provincial and Territorial Association should be proud of those people for their commitment to the sport.

We have now reached the festive season and a time to relax and enjoy our families and friends. On behalf of the Canadian Broomball Federation Executive Members and Staff we extend best wishes to you and your families during this Holiday Season and wish you a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
